Exodus 24:1-18  And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.  (2)  And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.  (3)  And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.  (4)  And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.  (5)  And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.  (6)  And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.  (7)  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.  (8)  And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.  (9)  Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:  (10)  And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.  (11)  And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.  (12)  And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.  (13)  And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.  (14)  And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.  (15)  And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.  (16)  And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.  (17)  And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.  (18)  And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Zechariah 10:1-12  Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.  (2)  For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.  (3)  Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.  (4)  Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.  (5)  And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.  (6)  And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.  (7)  And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.  (8)  I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.  (9)  And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.  (10)  I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.  (11)  And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.  (12)  And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.
