Text:

Psalms 99:1-9  The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.  (2)  The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.  (3)  Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.  (4)  The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.  (5)  Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.  (6)  Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.  (7)  He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.  (8)  Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.  (9)  Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

Text:

1 Corinthians 2:1-5  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.  (2)  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  (3)  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  (4)  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  (5)  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Text:

Hebrews 11:23-29  By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.  (24)  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;  (25)  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;  (26)  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.  (27)  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.  (28)  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.  (29)  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
